We offer trophy Mid-Asian Ibex hunting in Tajikistan, which is best known for its stunning mountainous Pamir range, often called the world’s roof. The hunt takes place in mountainous terrain and there are no special requirements for hunter beyond normal physical condition. Base camp is located about 11,500 feet above sea level, with hunts going up to 16,400 feet.
Each hunter has their own guide and moves in the terrain on foot and using horses. The total duration of the journey is 8 to 10 days, with 6 to 7 hunting days.
We have been working with a fantastic outfitter for Mid-Asian Ibex hunts since 1999 and have sent over 100 clients on these high altitude adventures with him. He received the Atcheson’s Professional Hunter of the Year Award in 2012.
