I can’t think of a single thing they didn’t do to help us have an enjoyable and successful hunt. 
As I stated on the questionnaire I stated before our hunt that my goal was to have a great, once in a lifetime, hunting experience with my son.  Our hunt was indeed all of that. (although we want to do it again – once in a lifetime is not enough!)

Our guide, Bryan Clines, was simply wonderful – he worked his tail off for us.  He was very knowledgeable about the game we were after, as well as the ranch we were hunting.  I don’t think I ate so well for five days in a row in my life!  Patsy Snodgrass is a wonderful cook and we truly ate like kings!  The other hunters in camp w...

Glenn Smith's FIVE SLAM HUNT!

Marc Hansen and Glenn Smith completed a very successful hunt in Mongolia during September, 2008.  Marc spent two weeks in Mongolia and Glenn was there for four weeks.  About two years ago they booked this hunt through Jack Atcheson, Jr. of Jack Atcheson and Sons after Glenn and Marc decided to try to achieve their Triple Slams.  They wanted to do as many hunts as possible together.  Jack organized the hunt and travel itinerary through Mongolian Travel.  The hunt was conducted by Juulchin World Tours.  Here is Glenn’s report on his part of the hunt.

Marc Hansen's Capra and Triple Slam!

I just returned from Mongolia where I completed my Capra World Slam and my Triple Slam.  This was my second trip to Mongolia, both with Mongolian Travel and I couldn’t be more pleased.  Everything went as planned and their staff was great – competent, friendly, and intent on ensuring I had a good time and was successful.  I would like to report that I executed this hunt flawlessly, but that would not be true.  Every now and then, one needs to be humbled and I clearly was on this hunt.

Michael Russo's Hunt in Montana
I am writing to let you know how much I enjoyed the Montana elk and deer hunt you arranged for me this fall with Shining Times Outfitting.  Shining times provided me with a first class bow hunt. 

As it was my first guided hunt and first western hunt I was unsure of what to expect.  Before booking the hunt, Rich was very patient and explained all of the details including travel, camp, equipment, hunt location, available game and hunt methods.  He also encouraged me to call his references, all of whom had only good things to say about Shining Times.

Mule Deer Hunt in Utah

I went on my Mule Deer hunt in Utah with J&J Outfitters, whom you recommended.
The results are in the accompanying photo. I took a very respectable Mule Deer and had a very enjoyable hunt.
The accommodations were good, the food was excellent, and I was fortunate to have Chris Mumford as my guide. I have been on a few hunting trips and this young man is by far the most knowledgeable guide I have ever hunted with. He has the uncanny ability to spot game at long distances and quickly judge the head. This was not this young man's first day on the job. Chris is also a master at setting up the trophy for a photo session.
I would recommend J&J Outfitters for a Mule Deer Hunt.  They run a good show.
