Kodiak Brown Bear Hunt 2008

I want to thank you for lining me up.  He did a first class job outfitting the guide and me for the spike camps.  Dustin, the young guide, was excellent in all aspects - finding and spotting bears at extreme distances, then judging their fur for rubs and the overall size.  He was able to see a bear the size of flea on a mountain a mile away.  Then he cooked meals, made sandwiches for lunch and hiked the hills with legs of steel.  All the food and equipment was very good: from the float rafts to the tents to the fresh meat for dinners, all great… no freeze dried meals.
The hunt was a 15 dayer, and by day 13 both of us were tired and a little discouraged.  We had seen only 18 bears and only one shooter on day 3, which saw us and went ”up and over” a ...

Mule Deer Hunt in Utah

I went on my Mule Deer hunt in Utah with J&J Outfitters, whom you recommended.
The results are in the accompanying photo. I took a very respectable Mule Deer and had a very enjoyable hunt.
The accommodations were good, the food was excellent, and I was fortunate to have Chris Mumford as my guide. I have been on a few hunting trips and this young man is by far the most knowledgeable guide I have ever hunted with. He has the uncanny ability to spot game at long distances and quickly judge the head. This was not this young man's first day on the job. Chris is also a master at setting up the trophy for a photo session.
I would recommend J&J Outfitters for a Mule Deer Hunt.  They run a good show.
I have heard of Atchesons for many years and the name is synonymous ...

Keith Atcheson & Family visit Tanzania!
Atcheson Family Hunt Report Masailand Tanzania December 2006

We went with Matt Lloyd-Sim owner and operator of Far and Away Safaris.

The powers that be say the best time to visit Masailand, Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti Plains, and one of the most famous places of all - the old Divide Gorge  - "The Cradle of all Mankind," begins in December and runs into January and February.  This is because of all the great migrations that occur each year with the vast numbers of wildlife moving during their migrations to greener pastures and larger water holes. How true it is as long as the rains come early!

In December Niki and I decided to go to Masailand and hunt for some of the giant Cape buffalo that come off the mountains and out of the ...

Monster Mountain Goat

I just returned from my Mountain Goat hunt with Packhorse Creek Outfitters, whom you recommended to me. I wanted to let you know I appreciate your help in locating some truly fantastic people. These guys, without a doubt, work as hard as I have ever seen and quality from start to finish is the result. I did take a truly monster Goat with the help of Jason, Charlie and Kevin.   All three worked together to help score this magnificent 10 ½” billy. Thanks again and I will get in touch when I begin planning my next hunt.

        Thanks Again for your help

         Chris Wells
